Drop these people a note

Today our troops and supporting troops rescued 3 of the 4 hostages taken over 4 months ago by Iraqi militants. If you've been paying attention about 3 weeks ago the 4th one was tortured and executed on the side of the road. These people were there as part of a group called the Christian Peacemaker Teams which is opposed to the Iraqi war and our presence in Iraq. They basically try to bring to the light the side of Iraqi's. REGARDLESS of your view on this or the fact that this didn't prevent them from getting killed I think that their press statement today is a slap in the face to our troops and to the young men and women that bravely put their life on the line to rescue people that antagonize and block their efforts every step of the way. The PRESS RELEASE never mentions that the 3 survivors were rescued but instead claims they were RELEASED (3 times!). They again blast the military (calls them occupiers) but NOT ONCE do they thank the military for freeing their friends.
TRUTH should not be negotiable. It should not be used only when it serves our purposes. So I'm posting the article and a link to their email. If you have time to write them an email please do so. REGARDLESS of your view on the war OUR SUPPORT for our troops (some who are close FRIENDS) should not waiver. If your not too busy send these people that message. Simply these people were RESCUED not RELEASED saying anything else is a slap in the face to the troops that this morning put their life on the line to free them.

I had no idea this was that group. I hope people wrote them and called them out on this lie. God forbid these people showed up at a loved ones funeral. There would be hell to pay. I did read where there is a group that follows them around now and basically blocks their view with giant flags. I guess it helps a little but I'm sure the families would prefer neither group was there.
