fucking AC Milan . . . i'm still pulling for Juve to pull this off, but Real and AC in the finals would be extremely thrilling to watch.

it will be Milan vs Real...
and I am an AC milan fan over any other team...
but how can u not say Real will win it all...
especially the way AC barely held on against Inter with a 1-1 tie...

Real Madrid -- DETHRONED!!!
all italian champions league final. should be very interesting, and dirty. may 28th is the date . . . for anyone (mainly you border-line soccer fans), if you want to watch a game at the highest level of league competition, tune into this match. i'm pretty sure ESPN2 will be televising it. Juventus vs AC Milan for the champions league cup is a battle between the current #1 vs the #4 club teams in the world (according to May 11th ESPN world rankings).

they better televise it....went to the DC United vs. Tottenham Hotspur game at RFK last nite...not really a fan of MLS, but it was nice to check out a Premiership team...ok game even though the only score was a lame own goal...

what a coincidence, i went to that game too . . . my lil bro interns for DC United so he hooked up some sweet club seats -- tottenham blew a lot of great chances, as if they were trying not to win. yeah, that own goal was lame ass.

I was in Florence last summer when Italy blew that lead and lost to South Korea, you could hear a pin drop at the end of that game.

fans in the US really aren't all that aware of how serious the rest of the world takes soccer. i'll even go so far as to say that the fanatic-factor (rowdiness, yelling, screaming, cheering, and even fighting) at soccer matches in other countries (in general) are significantly more intense than any of the 4 major sports here in the states.

one of the most intimidating stadiums in international football is Azadi Stadium in Tehran. 120,000+ screaming, cursing, chanting, crazy-ass iranian men -- no women (until this year) except for those of the visiting internationals are permitted to attend.
another memorable stadium was, i think, Seoul, from the last World Cup -- remember that ocean of red.
