I work in a pharmacy, they do it b.c people buy some of that stuff for meth labs, and also psuedophedrine if you take enough of it messed you up, theres an age limit and a certain amount of milligrams you can buy per day but to ask you for all that info is wierd, same goes for syringes only 10 per day 18+ w. a valid ID

But what is the ID part solving? It's not illegal to buy A bottle of cold medicine..now if someone comes in there buying MANY, I'd see why you'd be suspicious. That they're making something, distributing something, etc which would be illegal. But what exactly does showing id for one bottle of robitussin accomplish? Do you have to be of legal age? If you show up tripping your face off in public they're going to check records that you bought it at cvs? lol What's the point?

I completely understand when it's LARGE quantities...it'd help you detect who's making what...nobody needs a case of sudafed or whatever. But a bottle?:hmmm

For the last 2 weeks somehow I can't find DRIXORAL any where in Manhattan, I went all over looking fot it. They just don't have it, and I notice some of the brands also dissapear like SUDAFED. All they have only like Benadril, Cleratin...those just won't work for me. And right now I only have 2 pills left.
Really I will get big problem , my eyes will swollen and forget about my sinus, I will sneezing like crazy without that pills.

2 days ago my GF woke me up, "Genghis, its blood stain in your pillow you are bleeding" and I said "what ? Bleeding ? That must be yours, I'm not having period". And she said again..."Look your nose bleeding".
So I looked myself in the mirror, and yes it was....that because during the sleep I just kept sneezing so bad...and I sneezed so hard too. And that made my membrane and sinus got iritated.

It is some reason why some of those ALERGY PILL BRANDS are taken away from the market ????

I just back from CVS with a pack of 12 pills.
They put back again that DRIXORAL and the other brands back in the counter, and now they said no need to show ID or sign anymore.
I asked them what excatly going on ?
But they just followed the instruction, but they didn't know why.
But I am happy now.

They are asking for ID because aparently there was a bust of a methlab in the area recently-like a week or 2 ago.....I went thru the same shit when I tried buying claritin-d because it contains pseudoephedrine in it.....was kind of annoying giving them all my personal info at the pharmacy, but if I dont take claritin, my allergies kill me :disappoin

well, in their defense...they cant remember every face that walks through the door and buys something...so they check the "list" where they write down all the info from your ID and if its on there for that day, u cant buy another bottle

I was under the impression you needed A LOT of the stuff to make a sizable batch... so buying individual bottles at various stores really wouldn't be too practical.
