Put a stronger warning label on ephedra products and they might come back to the shelves again (in areas that dont have them).
Studies show that they are not as dangerous as prescribed weight loss drugs and may not have been the actual cause of death in some cases in which it said it was.

Ephedra has been used as a scapegoat and it's time that research needs to demonstrate that the media is out of line with their bogus conclusions. There's an excellent article written by a few doctors in last months M&F about this issue, but I don't think I can gain access other than by hard copy.

It's definitely been getting too bad of a bad rap.
Cheap plug:
I'll be starting an online retailer of strictly fat burning products in the coming months - www.fatburnerz.com - Including a database of information on every ingredient found in any fat burning product we sell (where it comes from, what it does, what products you can find it in). I'll let everyone know when it launches.

well i went to vitamin shoppe to buy another bottle of hydroxycuts
but they told me they are not putting it on the shelf
so i had to buy xenadrine (rfa-1) instead
but the employee's told me that it too will be off the shelf
so basically by the end of the month say good-bye to
all ephedra products

Vitamin Shop has been saying that for some time now. They need to put the ban into effect in the area before they actually take it off the shelf's. So far in NY I think Suffolk is the only area effected by the ban so far.

thats just the big name stores themselves taking them off the shelves to protect themselves from liability. You can still find ephedra products everywhere else.

ITS FUNNY TO HEAR THEY ARE GONNA PUT STRONGER WARNINGS ON EPHEDRINE..CUZ I READ A PROPOSAL FROM BACK IN 1997 THAT THEY WERE ONLY GONNA ALLOW PILLS CONTAINING NO MORE THAN 8 MG OF EPHEDRINE TO BE SOLD...TRIM SPA HAS 15 MG OF EPHEDRINE ALKALOIDS...I GUESS THAT PROPOSAL WASNT PASSED. WHO KNOWS WHAT WIL HAPPEN
SORRY FOR THE CAPS :TEETH
