just got home from jp

party was like maybe a little better than average up until about 6 am. from 6 am - close was perfection. i was there open to close, and i wanted to leave so many times, but i just couldnt. the party just kept getting better and better.

i have been to pretty much every jp party for the last 3 years straight, and i cant speak about his early factory days because i never saw him. but last night/this morning/this afternoon was hands down the best jp party i have ever been to.

it was a good party. i dont hear jp often so i cant say if this was his best or worst gig in years plus it doesnt really matter. he played groovy classics in the beginning which was my favorite part and then got into his harder techno thing later on. nice to be their for this party and meet some ncc peeps.

I made my outfit for classics with a Temperamental theme--whole outfit was based around that song. So when JP dropped the song, I started to make my way into the circle and my friends were shouting for me to go in and pointing at my clothes. So I start to go in and Vivacious comes up to me and doesn't let me go in. She does her thing not letting anyone in for about 3 songs. Then other people started to go in and she didn't stop anyone, she was just looking at them and either nodding or shaking her head. So I start to dance and she comes up to me and stands right in front of me I guess to size me up and I don't care. Then all of a sudden she grabs me and stops me and looks closely at my outfit. She looked up at me and goes "I'm sooo sorry. I didn't realize your outfit" and was very apologetic for not letting me do my thing for that one song. We talked and I explained that its my screen name, my myspace name, the name I post under--if people don't know my real name, they know me as Temperamental. So I was really pissed off before she made peace, but seeing how sincere she was about being sorry I got over it quickly.

I didn't want that party to end. Great seeing everyone I saw. Best classics ever. Best JP has spun in a loooooong time. Keeps sucking me back in lol :agree

Well I destroyed a pair of jeans and down one of my front legs I had the word temperamental going down in white lettering, and then going down the opposite leg on the back side of my jeans i had it going down in black lettering. Then I made my tank top and on the front it said You Trample On This Fierce Heart of Mine. I was going to put I don't want you to love me on the back but I made my outfit before I went out Saturday night/morning and the front wasn't going to dry enough in time for me to do the back and have that be dry in time for me to go out. :shuffle Next time I'll know better to give myself more time for these projects lol.

I feel like anyone can dj a classics night. Either way though, the party was great and I had a blast. Coco Lee was certainly a great surprise.

I walked in at 3:30 & left around 12:45 ! I had a fun time like always , it's always nice to see alot of oldschool faces that i used to party w/over the years !!! For most of the party I thought the musik was a little boring and i really wasnt fully feeling it ! idunno , if it was because it was 500 degrees in that place & it was disgustingly hottt in pacha ? idunno , but being surrounded by thousands of sweaty people isnt exactly comfortable for me , that's probally why i was In a bad mood for most of the night . Maybe i should have come later , then dealing w/all the chaos in the beginning of the night .. But as the parfty went on and people left and i was w/all the regulars ^& the musik got better i felt more in my comfort zone !

I do have to comment on Pacha Nightclub ..I do have a couple of things i do need to express about the way they run this club .. There was absolutly no cool air venting thru the club except on the 4 th floor . The club was soo hottt and filthy that there was steam pouring out of the club ..The musik shut off 3 x's during the night cause the fuse blew and the lights went off ..I heard fire alrams going off and it was just a nightmare . I think at one point i felt the electric cables on the wall of the club and that shit was def. not safe . It was really a crazzy event to attend to say the least ...also , the bartenders at pacha are so rude and they wont even give u a cup of ice aty the bar .. I was like are u kiddding ? anywho , they def. need to change a couple of things because that club is not running the way richard ran the factory !!

Okay , on to the positive !! After hrs and hrs of dealing w/the kaos my man jonathan peters really came to the rescue , like he always does after 10 hrs !! I would say around from 9 till the time i stepped out of the club my man was dropping bombs into bombs on the fly ..Looping and destryoing tracks like no other dj can do . I;m actually happy i stayed around for the after hrs .. I finally felt at home and satisfied w/the musik selction jonathan was playing .. I couls name numerous tracks but i will leave that for miss kristee lee to ID !

Overall , I had fun and am thankful I attended !!! because , i dont know how many more parties i have left in me and how many more braincells i have left to kill ..It's almost time to past the torch down to the next generation ..lol

First time in literally years I have been out like that and was out with a friend of mine from home that I used to go to sf with a million years ago and figured we'd dust it off one last time and check it out.
Thankfully we got hooked up with no wait, got walked inside, free entry, vip passes and like 20 free drink tickets.

It was my first, and in all probability, last time there.
I like what they did with the place. Pachita is really nice.
I know you've all been there so I won't belabor the changes you've already seen.

I don't know what I was expecting, but absolutely nothing has changed in that building in 10 yrs. It was SF all over again. Different faces, same sh_t..

I had fun while I was out. The music was good, the crowd was disturbing.
I saw people doing g all over the place. We watched this guy doing the whoa dance for a solid 30 min b/f we moved on for a change of scenery. We were on the mezz behind jp and he was below on the dance floor. he fell a good 3x but kept popping back up. i kept wondering, where the hell are this guy's friends.
Girls that looked 16 yrs old that were mangled. People doing things in the open like nobody could see them. Ahh well...

I thought the music was good. JP's booth is sick. I don't go out so I enjoyed it for what it was, but don't miss it one bit.

I walked in at 3:30 & left around 12:45 ! I had a fun time like always , it's always nice to see alot of oldschool faces that i used to party w/over the years !!! For most of the party I thought the musik was a little boring and i really wasnt fully feeling it ! idunno , if it was because it was 500 degrees in that place & it was disgustingly hottt in pacha ? idunno , but being surrounded by thousands of sweaty people isnt exactly comfortable for me , that's probally why i was In a bad mood for most of the night . Soooooo happy I got to hear Temperamental. The one song I obiviously needed to hear. Now, everyone who saw me yesterday and saw my outfit knows why that moment was almost ruined for me. I made my outfit for classics with a Temperamental theme--whole outfit was based around that song. So when JP dropped the song, I started to make my way into the circle and my friends were shouting for me to go in and pointing at my clothes. So I start to go in and Vivacious comes up to me and doesn't let me go in. She does her thing not letting anyone in for about 3 songs. Then other people started to go in and she didn't stop anyone, she was just looking at them and either nodding or shaking her head. So I start to dance and she comes up to me and stands right in front of me I guess to size me up and I don't care. Then all of a sudden she grabs me and stops me and looks closely at my outfit. She looked up at me and goes "I'm sooo sorry. I didn't realize your outfit" and was very apologetic for not letting me do my thing for that one song. We talked and I explained that its my screen name, my myspace name, the name I post under--if people don't know my real name, they know me as Temperamental. So I was really pissed off before she made peace, but seeing how sincere she was about being sorry I got over it quickly.

If you're the kind of person who can't limit themselves in things, then G shouldn't be your party favor of choice. Period. Point blank.

As far as the party, i thought the music was so-so. Im not really a fan of Ableton it makes the mixing sound manufactured and less human. Anyone who knows me knows i love vinyl, but i think the Pioneer CDJ's are great too, and give DJ's alot of options to work in with mixes ... something about Ableton just makes the presentation of the mix lack personal style, everything sounds way too computerized for me ... i dunno, maybe its just me.

I really went just to hang out with people it straight up felt like 99-2000 in there expecially in the BK corner, like Joyce said i thought alot of those people died or something ! So in that sense it was a good party, everyone seemed to be there & in good spirits. I was out around 10 i thought the heat was disgusting and unbearable, i dont care how good music is when its that gross somewhere all i can think about is leaving. Pacha should really look into that problem.
