i amsuming your either a Hockey or Lax guy. Those are the people that disrespect baseball. Say pussy sport all you want but which sport gets the most prestige, certainly not hockey, and def not lax...what do lax players make 30 k per year. WACK.
play 162 game season and see how you feel after that. not saying hockey aint tough, cause those guys kick each others assess. but come on.
take the most famous baseball world series team and the most famous stanley cup team drop them in the middle of NYC and see who get's recognized more.
Sport may not be all that physical at each position, but put the catchers gear on and see how simple it is. You can compare it to a goalie.

are you honestly gonna sit there and use the whole "look at us, we play 162 games, we're rough, tough, and we got the stuff" utter horseshit-of-an-argument. playing 162 baseball games in a season, is NOT, by any stretch of the imagination, a test of endurance. i'm not disrespecting baseball, as it has its established place in north america and some parts of asia, but its prestige certainly isn't a result of some great test of athletic prowess -- its a result of generation and generations of tradition.
baseball is a pussy sport. yanks are NOT tops in the league (check the latest standings), and fuck the mets too -- i hate all NY sports franchises.
now hockey and lacrosse are all fine and dandy but the most popular/prestigious sport in the world is, and forever will be, soccer!
