Technically, if we are born here, we are Americans of ****** descent- for example, i am an american of Cuban descent. But for many of us who are the first generation of Americans in our family, we have been fully immersed in all aspects of our family's native cultures. Therefore, many of us will identify with that part of our culture before recognizing our American identity. We are not rejecting it by any means, and I am sure we are all very proud of what we are. ive noticed that for some reason italians (or those tht call themselves italians) dont actually speak italian, but almost everyone i know who is hispanic speaks spanish.

The immigration of most of the Italians in this country happened much earlier in the 20th century, therefore most of them do not have that direct relationship with their language and culture. the influx of latin people is an on-going thing, therefore we still have very strong cultural ties.

no1 ever guesses on a slav/latin mix

romanians are dark but i have blond latin genes.

bc of that i lose the slavic look somewhat


but i don't gain the dark latin look... and blond latin isn't a common feature for pple to distinguish from other parts of europe.

i also often get latin american... but the white kind lol
