last year I went to Shelter for the Topaz party to support Corbett...Gonzo came on after him and played the worst set I have EVER heard anyone play.
the garbage that he was dropping I wouldnt even call music.

Def did not sound anything like he did back at LL.

this event was also filled with candy ravers etc...so maybe being in a nice lounge he will change it up a little.
I hope for your sake...if not bring lots of aspirin.

What kind of garbage? Please explain.

I'm not even going there because I think he's a great DJ.

To tell you the truth, I never liked Limelight back in the day...
Limelight was alittle to much for me when I was younger ;)
I didn't go till they reopened.
Believe it or not, I have never heard him spin either.

I want to go see him because I know him since Junior High School and I haven't seen him in yearssss.

I dont even know how to describe it...
it was Trance, but not even like Circus trance...it was so ridiculous I couldnt even believe they were calling it music.

I know the guy has skills, honestly I just think he was playing for the crowd that night...or at least I hope he was.

His set made Pleasureheads sound like the best music on earth, and if you ever heard Pleasurehead spin...thats pretty fuckin scary.

As I said, it was a very ravey environment and I dont see how he could ever play that way at Gemini...so def check it out.

Let me know how it was :)

and if you dont enjoy it swing by Centro for a drink and to hear Mike Macaluso and Peter Bailey...
