this is out of left field... but i was ironing my shirt this morning and when i went to grab the iron, i grabbed the wrong side by accident and literally seared half my hand.

wat can i put on to soothe the burn:shuffle

Aloe kid, its one of the few things that helps burns. Yo i had it fall on my four arm once i still have a scar it looks like i slit my wrist lol. Hope your alright

yea im fine. i grabbed it without looking and i stood there for atleast 3 seconds before i realized wtf i did. my hand is so smooth now lol.

The iron fell on my upper thigh 2 weeks ago and for a few days that burn was sizzlinggg and sizzling through my pants. I kept putting zinc oxide on it and coco butter on at night. The scar looks 80% better than it did when I first got it...so it'll hopefully go away.

THE WORST was when I SAT on my burning hot flat iron by accident. LMAOOO Imagine sitting on burning hot metal? wow :lostit

The iron fell on my upper thigh 2 weeks ago and for a few days that burn was sizzlinggg and sizzling through my pants. I kept putting zinc oxide on it and coco butter on at night. The scar looks 80% better than it did when I first got it...so it'll hopefully go away.

lmfao the best part is when ur skin is being seared u dont realize it until a few seconds into it. Like I left the iron leaning on my leg for a pretty long time. And I sat on the flat iron before I realized OWWWWWW there is burning metal on my ass cheek.

YES exactly. i wasnt even looking at the iron while i was grabbing it. and finally after 6 seconds ,most of the tread on my hand was smooth and it hit me. didnt really hurt, it was more of a "FUCK!" moment

an old wives tale is to use butter. haha..sounds crazy, but my mom does this.
For real people..they sell burn iontment in cvs.

Was prescription back in the day, i believe its over the counter now, ask a pharmacist.

I had a BAD burn on my hand skin falling off and blistery. Used this stuff for a week or so and it healed it Fast as hell, NO SCAR what so ever

I can too relate, about a week ago i lost my balance and fell on top of my flat iron and burned my thigh, ive been putting vitamin E on it and cocobutter, def helps we'll see if i get any scars tho!
