I am looking for a pair of good studio or booth speakers that I can put on my wall (shelf)...

I am tired of using my huge as speakers that shake the whole house... I want some good qualtiy speakers that have a nice over all sound that I can use for my everyday mxing...

does anyone have any good suggestions?

PS- I am not trying to pay out the ass... either... but reasonable price.

you can buy a pair of Alesis studio monitors for about 300-400$ Alesis speakers have a very good crisp sound

when i was shopping for monitors the two that stood out were the event 20/20 and the behringer truths.
best way to go is like mikey said....hit up gc or sam ash and see what sounds best (although i dont think either of them carry the truths).
ideally the mackies are the best but theyre something like $800 each!

i ended up not buying monitors all together. i decided to buy more records instead.
my choice wouldve been the behringer truths tho. they are not concidered to be as accurate as mackies or events but they just sounded great.

The question is, are u allowed to slam beats in without blowing out ur speakers? Can it handle the high bass and shit?
