funny you said that because when i was there last week after 9pm rolled in that is all i saw on the roads. i didnt feel so safe walking to my hotel

they need to follow suit like Gulliani and worry about "quality of life" and start with the little things,
and another social theory called "broken windows"
if you really look at south beach, esp ocean drive, lots of abandoned buildings, usually old hotels that fail and shit like that, takes away from the beauty that was once south beach back in the day

I used to go alot back then, and even then on the busy weekends it was bad, but just cause it was vacation and to be expected,
but it seems now, that the general infrastructure of the area has gone to shit,
shame.
form what I hear, from talking with peopl when Iw as down there, they are doing away with lots of the clubs and shit and cracking down, going to be building alot more condos (whihc has begun) and more high end hotel (which also has begun setei (sp) and the gansevort)....so hopefully the low lives will get pushed out cause they cant afford to go
but what does this mean for conference is what we all prob wonder

when i go to florida i stay away from miami. i go to florida for some nice sun and relaxation. stay up in orlando or daytona. I really wanna go to the keys tho. anybody ever been?

i remember going to get food outside our hotel room at johnny rockets and some young ignorant girl started a fight with an employee and some older homie started sticking up for the employee so she started talking shit to him and they really got into it. food was getting thrown and shit. the cops had to come to take her out cause she would stop

What do you expect if you hang around Ocean drive and Collins ave. Thats where all the trash is. You have to check info at miamidadegov.com or call the hotels to find out what events are Sheduled that weekend. Linclon road mall is the the new ocean drive. Theres no trash there. In Miami there are so many clubs. You have to know what night and what venue yo go to. Otherwise you will be stuck in an empty club. Sorry you guys got burnet. Ive been living there for 3 years. I learned where to go and when to go. Know I never run into this problem.

and the area up by nikki beach ....

remember what south beach used to be in the early 90's and 80's... it was all old age homes and broken down bldgs, then the italians came in from NYC and turned that shit around... now its going to shit again. repete i agree of course it has its nice areas but collins and ocean really went downhill....and i wonder why>>> hmmmmm
