my mom lives about 40 mins away in nj so my bf & i figured we would go. we had nooo idea how packed it was going to be. i've been during the xmas season & it was nothing like this. the traffic to get into the place was nuts w/ psychos trying to cut e/o off, driving on the shoulder of the highway to get closer to the exit etc. parking was a nightmare. then to top it off...u had to WAIT ON LINE to get into the stores. the stores were already a madhouse at 1245pm by the time we got in. then u had to wait on lines wrapped around the entire store to get ur purchase. my bf bought 2 pairs of jeans from off 5th ave & then 2 zip ups & a pair of sneaks from puma all for 250. i could not be bothered w/ waiting on line for over an hour to get in a store & then an hour to buy something so i got nothing.

people were waiting outside gucci on a line at 3am & the store didn't open until 5am. plus i think it was only like 20% off. not worth waiting 5 hours to me but whatver.

overall, not worth it. i'd rather just shop at the normal malls.

Wow thats nuts... I can imagine people were probably drunk from dinner too. I think people can get just as good deals online now w/ the black friday websites and such, whats the point of going through all of that for like you said 20% off. :shrugger

my friends were supposed to go, i should ask them how it was.

I'd never ever do that. If i know it'll be a mob scene, i aint there. I would much rather spend more money that be pushed and shoved and wait in 1 hr lines.
