delirious and raw are two of my favorite standups ever. Chapelle is pretty funny, old Pryor is great. But my favorite comic that I've seen live is by far Jay Norton, the guy that opens for Dice and Carlin, the motherfucker is hilarious.

Bill Maher, Dave Chapelle, George Carlin, Elaine Boosler, Rita Rudner, Dana Carvey, Louie Anderson, John Pinette, George Wallace, Wendy Liebman.

Though I thoroughly enjoy all these comedians and some never fail to make me laugh (Bill Maher, George Carlin, Dana Carvey), the best is Bill Cosby. His doesn't tell jokes but relates stories that can go on 15 - 20 minutes before reaching the punch line. The stories are of what many would think just normal "non-funny" aspects of life and they are told in a "clean" manner. This isn't to say that I dislike cursing, jokes about sex and other "racy" topics, but his ability to make you laugh is just a demonstration of his comic talent.

Ain't no one better than Pryor himself!!!!! The best working together though has got to be Pryor and Murphy!!! Harlem Nights is one of the classics!!!
