Xbox media player

I just got my mod chip for xbox. How do install Xbox media player on the xbox. I have the zip file on my computer hard drive.

What version did you get? unzip it then create a directory on your C drive (or where ever else you have yours appz). Once you do that you got to edit the config file. Also make sure to get the relax streaming server so you can stream all your media from your pc to the xbox. This media player the future of the xbox, it completes the xbox.

I don't quite follow you. Is there some sort of file manager that xbox uses to read data discs??? eg: copy and paste

I want to be able to burn xbox media player on a cd then copy it onto the xbox. Do I have to burn it onto dvd??

Someone told me to put a new dashboard on xbox????

I am confused.

Some else told me to burn xbox media player as a bootable iso image file.

If you can help...that would be great.

Did you swap out your hard drive? If not, thats a must, then you use ftp client software like www.leapftp.com to upload apps and games to the new hard drive.
