funny though..all the people im friends with now, ive met through other friends. and the people who i used to always hang out with have gone on to marry or have moved

Sounds negative when you say it like that. I think many freindships change just because people grow. Especially if you have a big range of ages in your circle of friends. Different things tend to take priority as you get older, so some people move to the new stages in their life while their friends travel their own path. A good friendship will last no matter what changes people o through or what roads they take.

I really didn't mean it to be a negative thing. I just meant it just exactly as you said it, because people grow and their paths in life take new directions. You lose touch with some and form new friendships with others. There are a few people I have in my life that I may not see or speak to as often as I may like, but these are people that I have been friends with for years who I know will always be there for me when and if I need them, and visa-versa.

true to a certain extent--i would say with myself these would be peopel i met later in life--but there are about 10-15 of us that are friends and have know each other from elementary and junior high school--these are the peopel in myself i mostly consoder "friends"--i have a very hard time using that word for someone that i dont know mostly everything about them
