Don't know how many of you like soccer but it was just annouced on friday that AC Milan is scheduled to play Juventus on aug 3 at giants stadium. If you like soccer this should be one the best games played at giants stadium since the worldcup

this will be a rematch of the champions league final (equivalent of the Superbowl) this past european season . . . hopefully, it won't end up in a 0-0 draw that goes to penalty kicks

Its supposed to be scheduled for giants stadium on 6/3/03 but i just got off the phone with the idiots at the meadowlands and they have no info on this game at all. If anyone finds any info about this game please post it here. Its sad that such a huge game is going unnoticed by the american public.

there's really only 2 ways to get over this common symptom among those detached from soccer.

1) if you actually play regularly

2) if you ever go to see a game in a different country, say england or italy or even a south american game -- the sheer energy and rowdiness of the crowd is overwhelmingly more intense than any sport here in the US

The game was annouced because everyyear its the italian cup winner against the league winner but the location was just decided on so unless you have a spy within the italian soccer federation i doubt you heard about it 2 weeks ago. Even my friend who works for RAI the italian television station just had heard about it on friday.

I found out today that presale tickets were this morning so i bought 36 tickets, some of them might be up for sale soon. I have 24 section 109 1st row tickets and 12 section 119 row 22 tickets. If anyone is interested let me know.
