my roommate bought a bootleg dvd off the street..

the whole thing is pretty gay and Bruce's (not sure of his real name) acting is terrible. Way too much instrumental music..
:snore

but maybe some comic book people will really like it...

i used to love the series on TV though.

Yes but most of the comics that crossed to the movies at least made it somewhat reasonably realistic.

umm...realistic?

a skinny geeky man that becomes a green juicehead monster when he gets "angry"??

in this particular case, i dont think the directors goal was realism

X-men and spidey may seem that way, but they didn't really dumb 'em down to make 'em more realistic... they are pretty true to the comics...maybe they seem more realistic because none of them are 12ft tall, can lift tons, and jump a mile or two...but to stay true to the comic, they had to go cg...the tv show was awesome for it's era, but no way comparable to the comic...

the only differences that I noticed so far are his origin and his dad, who was never a character in the books, just in his thoughts...

hulk trivia: his name is bruce banner, but they changed it to david banner for the show because bruce sounded too gay...

Yup, I saw it and I used to read the comic books and it is right on. The only reason they used Lou Ferigno in the 70s is cuz that's the best they could do. Even though it was CGI, it still looked really good. It looks a lot worse on the commercials than it does on the big screen. Great Fuckin' movie!!! I liked it better than X2.
