Loses fight to Lennox Lewis in 6th round by TKO. Klitschko had a fairly bad bruise on his left eye which opened up and caused the refs to call the fight but he was clearly beating up the tired and out-of-shape Lewis, who imo ... was on his way to losing the fight.

Crowd was clearly behind Klitschko thru out the whole fight. They booed at the decision to end the fight, and roared for approval at Klitschko after he raised his arms several times after the decision.

This def. was a dissapointment. Lennox Lewis is past his prime and an obnoxious chump who acts like no one can touch him. If there is a rematch i think Klitschko will hurt Lewis and badly. Klitschko was saying after the fight that Lewis' braided hair opened up the cut on a headbutt, and that def. seemed like a correct assumption. I think if Lewis stays in this type of condition and goes on to fight Roy Jones Jr, he will be in even bigger trouble. Lewis seems to be to be living off his success of beating Mike Tyson who was well past his prime and still gave Lewis a solid fight. Lewis is a paper champ, just a matter of time before he gets punked once again.

Lewis is a cocky fuck and donest give credit where credit is due, but he is a decent fighter. I would love to see a rematch btwn Lewis and Klitschko and I def think Lewis would hit the canvas this time. But I am sure Lewis is going to hold out too see who will give him the biggest pay day.

As for Lewis vs Roy Jones Jr, I think Lewis would beat Roy Jones Jr. if they fought. Jones is good and I would love to see him kick his ass but I dont think he would be able to knock Lewis out and I dont think he has the the chin to take the abuse Lewis would give to him. And with that reach advantage he would just keep have to keep Jones away and then when he wanted to end it, end it. If Jones put on 10 or so more lbs and learned how to fight the way he does now at that weight....then it would be a diff story. Jones is alittle too light and doesnt have that heavy weight power just yet.

Bullfucking shit. He wasnt robbed of anything. If the fight had continued, he would have gotten really hurt. There was a HOLE in his eyebrow!!!!!!!! There wasnt a skin and you saw the inside. Hes lucky it got stopped because if he got hit again with a blow to that spot may have just ended his career. You dont fuck wiht open cuts that deep to the eye, very bad news. Not to mention his lip was split in 2 and flapping when he talked. He'll have his chance again. Hes a good fighter.

I agree although Vladmir was bouncing him around, he was in for a beating if it kept going, and if there is a rematch, Lewis will be alot more prepared and it won't be after a year layoff.

i don't know what kind of pain threshold roy jones jr has but to think that jones could stick & move the entire bought against lewis and avoid lewis landing some solid blows is ridiculous. lewis will catch him -- maybe not all out finishers but he'll catch him nonetheless. does roy have the threshold that can take it? most of the fights of his that i've seen he really has been tested as far as the intensity of blows he takes. in the end, he may edge it out against lewis but don't underestimate lennox's ability to put two or 3 punches together and lay-out jones.

regardless, eventhough its cliche, i'd really like to see this david vs goliath fight soon.
