this thread makes we want to dig through my parent's attic and find my Powell Peralta board, assuming they haven't tossed it or given it to good will.

any of you ever subscribe to Thrasher?

Thrasher, TransWorld, Big Brother... I had them all.
I was full on into skating until I was 17. I had a real deal mini ramp at my house too.

I always get the itch to buy a new board. Its funny how you can get a skateboard at the mall now. When we were kids it was so hard to find skate shops! I feel weird though thinking about getting on a board again at 30, lol

Public Domain was one of my favorite videos of all time, with Animal Chin and Ban This close behind.

Another reason I get discouraged when I think about skating again is that every kid I see skating now is skating switch stance...I had enough trouble skating the right way...now you have to learn the same tricks backwards!! It doesnt look fun at all.
