i saw a story on 20/20 that said the gazelle was bad for most people... had to do something with the legnth of your legs....

I have the Gazelle and if done right it gives a good workout. At first I was afraid to go hard on it because it looks flimsy but it actually held up. My advice is that if you use it a lot check the bolts to make sure they dont start to loosen, like a monthly maintenace.
