I got up this am to go run a few miles..
MY LORD! this heat takes your breath away.. and it was just
7am.. it looked like i took a shower outside when i got back!
too bad there isn't a sweaty smiley!

it's dangerous to do heavy cardio outside in this weather.. you can get heat stroke
i want it to cool down so i can go rollerblading

I thought it was actualy pretty good jogging outside in the heat, you burn double the fat, no?

it's been rough out there .. I usually run at like 5:30am so it's cooler ... but it's still been pretty damn fuckin hot ... I had to stop at the water fountains 2-3x ... ugh
yeah you burn more calories no doubt ... but you do have to watch out for heat injuries

I think you burn more calories in the cold weather....your body has to work harder to maintain a core body temp of 98.6 degrees.
But I would think you prolly loose more water weight in the summer due to sweating....
I cant stand working out in the heat...I put the AC up when I am at my gym.

I often wonder about that....
If you look at it as far as mechanics, a car is less fuel efficient in the summer in fact a car runs better and faster in the winter.. Now if a body were to follow a the same principles less efficient as in burning more fuel would mean more bodyfat..

A car usually runs quicker in the cold do to keeping the air and fuel cooler so it runs alittle leaner (more air/bigger combustion,bigger fire). But sometimes if its too cold the car cant get to a good temp to run its best (talking from a drag race type senerio). But cooler is better then warmer with cars. And it is usually the case with this in carburated motors as apposed to fuel injection cars...(cause of all the stupid sensors that come into play).
As for humans its almost the same...you need to keep your muscles somewhat warm in order for them to perform there best. If you cant get warm (loose and blood/amino acids flowing) you wont get a great work out.

well.. whatever it is.. i def cannot go as fast or as long in the summer.. It kinda makes it easier to break up the work out into a AM and PM routine..
this AM i ran...cause there is no way i could do it after work..
might go rollerblading though, cause that isn't as strenuous.. :)

try putting on 50LBS of gear and doing it in the heat.... that is what the FD does to it's guys... I know a guy theat dropped from 22% body fat to 14% in 8 weeks....

much like in the military, passing onthe gear is not an option.. lol
that is why I am going to start to eat like an animal.... so I don't melt away to NOTHING come time for me to start the FD..
I must say, Ia m a bit concerned about how much weight I am going to drop.....

yeah.. i grew up on military bases... my mom was in the AF. Watching them play war games in like 90 degree heat with all their crap on even gas masks was rough.. :(
I don't think you should be too concerned... just be sure to eat enough during your meal times and you'll be ok... meal replacement bars will prob become your best friend.
