hmm in midtown---i love love love China grill...:heart cant go wrong there--portions are family size too so it will feed you guys lol..
then there is always Mr. Chow or Tao---i have never been to either so i cant speak for the food--but have heard good things
A bit further south in meatpacking is Buddakan---food is good but portions are soo small...and Budda Bar.....and Spice Market for Thai food
those are the pretty "trendy" ones
if you want to be a bit more adventurous---ive heard great things about Ninja---i which is japanese. http://www.ninjanewyork.com/
oh annndd--theres Japonais-- which i am dying to try --its in the Union Square/Flatiron area----the menu looks amazing--and decor is great :heart
it is fairly new too--and they open up their doors in the nice weather...

i cant find another the other one i posted about the 2nd time i went...
but i tried some more dishes---i loved the charred filet of beef---it had such a great taste to it....i still loved the tuna spring roll :heart although it was not as good as the first time i tried it...dont get the house fried rice--it is very soggy and flavorless...kung pao chicken was also very tasty
for dessert---make sure you get the crying chocolate
and dont say i didnt warn you when i say that the portions are miniscule...so dont go there with a big appetite :keke
