always fix your ball marks when u get to the green. Its the same at all the city courses, but I saw so many unfixed ballmarks at split rock up in the bronx it was ridiculous. There were frickin craters on the green that people would just leave behind. I fixed at least 3 or 4 besides mine on every green. So maybe if everyone would just fix at least one other mark besides thier own, it would be much better. yeah...im just a golf dork venting.
heres some instructions for anyone wondering what im talking about.

this can also be done with just a tee. I always use a tee.

Silver lake on SI used to be my place... Now im liking Pelham/Split Rock. The ride takes longer, but the courses are much better. They actually have space up there.

i used to manage Silver Lake, Pelham/Split rock, Clearview, Dyker, South Shore, laTourette, Van Courtlandt, Long island National in Riverhead, and Mansion Ridge.....
LIN and Mansion Ridge are great.......
Clearview is the most played public golf course in the country....
