I need a cream that'll clear my face, I don't have pimples, I have like small marks, maybe from the sun or some shit, have no clue,
I'm sure there's a cream that clears up the skin, anyone recommend any?

i use prescription Retina A and it has done wonders for my acne scars that have built up over the years.....its evening out my complexion--once you get through the initial peeling of the top layers of your skin the marks just start to fade away...i love it :heart
another option is a microdermebrasion--basically does the same thing--removes the top layers of skin----i beleive lancome has a good one.

For scarring and "marks" laser treatment at a dermatologists office is probably the best option...those marks will be gone in mere moments you will have minimal side effects perhaps a tiny bruise and there is virtually no skin damage. Its the most effective and quick therefore the most expensive. The next best thing would be a chemical peel again by a dermatologist. Thirdly you can try Renova (prescription only) which will clean up your face and any scarring when its used as directed and religiously...it is very effective, very safe and much easier on your wallet.
Renova contains tretinoin which is one of the top recommended ingredients for hyperpigmentation. Retin-A is more for acne scarring.
Microdermabrasion at home will NOT get rid of hyperpigmentation such as dark/red/light spots, it only helps to resurface the skin and very little...if you had acne scarring (some call them "craters) it would help but with hyperpigmentation (which is what it sounds like) you need other methods.
Lastly I can recommend using a "lightening" product which contains a chemical known as Hydroquinone. Also considered by MANY doctors as a safe and effective treatment for this.
Lex, I know you jut asked for a cream lol, I just wanted to give you all your options...I love this stuff! :lostit
I'd also like to add that I am no doctor...lol...this is just what I have learned from my studies :geek

Aveeno face cream is supposed to make ur face look nicer--I have used it and loved it
I started using the pro-activ for sensitive skin to reduce the red marks. I dont have acne just redness and seriously...my face looks 50% better after two weeks.
Most people dont know they have a Gentle formula bc they dont advertise it anywhere but it's pretty good Lexie <3

yeah-- i kept using it on and off and told my dr i didnt like it --and he was like TRUST me--just keep using it every night all over the face, not for spot treatment---and sure enough its made such a difference in my face once i rode out the peeling stage...
i counter balance it with proactive --since it has the little beads to exfoliate so it gets rid of the dry skin...
and yeah lori---it def sometimes burn--like when i put on my moisturizer...i doubt i will be using it so much in the summer since its no bueno when you are out in the sun either

The proactiv IIIIIII use is not endorsed by famous ppl since it's the gentle formula. So that makes me feel a little better. I dont believe one of those bastards use proactiv, but it has worked on me in two weeks I see a difference.

Look Lex, with skin care you have to try a few different things to find the right one that works for your skin...the laser and peels from the dermatologist work on EVERYONE but they can be expensive and most are not covered by insurance. If money is NO object, do it, its the number one option and every single mark will disappear in mere minutes.
But there have been a few other options thrown out there if that not your thing...as a guy, it seems the easiest thing to FIRST try would be Pro-Activ since it has worked for others...it MIGHT not work but it might be your holy grail product. Try it, give it a few months, if it doesnt work come back to us for the next attempt :keke

my shit is def not that serious for laser treatment, it's just little spots that I have on my face, especially by the sides of my chin that just came out recently, it's not bad when you see me but I noticed in the last cople of pictures I took,
my moms just gave me this cream that her aunt gave to her for her skin, she said it's really good and that it cleared her shit up so I'm trying it now, it's Clarifique by Ebel Paris, some French cream, it burned a little when I put it on last night so I think it might actually work,
if not I'll def try out some of the ones all of you recommended,
thanks :)

If you are going to the derm ASK them! None of us are subsititues for doctors and I can also tell you I am a HUGE fan of dermatologists lol...dont buy anything first just ask them what cream to use but make sure you tell them you AINT into peeling, throw your ideas around, talk to them and see if that is your best option...although I can tell you RetinA and Renova are freaking breakthrough products, they make people look younger as well :shuffle

Ive been using Retin-A to improve the overall consistency of my skin for like a week & a half now and I see such a huge difference. I haven't really started peeling too much yet except for on my forehead, but I don't mind the peeling, I just moisturize a lot, and I don't mind the dryness at all, in fact I welcome it b/c my skin is incredibly oily in the summer & so is the new matte foundation I've been using.
Btw Jess thanks for recommending Dr. Geyer. I saw him last week.. he's awesome!

I dont know if I can handle peeling
awwwwww lolol
The Gentle Formula Proactiv has been working for my reddness and -0- peeling (I do tend to peel with a lot of prescribed topical meds). The cleanser they give you has tiny beads that exfoliate and then the toner calms skin to help reduce reddness.
I dunno I went to the dermatologist and he gets MAD at me. he keeps trying to force me to take meds and then gives me anti-biotics. I have severe stomach problems and I can't take the anti-biotics. LOL I mean I look the anit-biotics up and it clearly states that people with the problems that I have should take them.
Soooo like 3 weeks ago I went to the dermatologis again and he's like no meds are going to work if you dont take the anti biotics. I get frustrated!!!! I dont have skin that's THAT bad but I do need help. LOL
I'm going to try Dr. Geyer bc i've had it with my dr., but can someone PM me his #? I can't find it anywhere.
