I'm working out in a different gym right now and it seems that the weights are different from each other. Some as high as a 30 pound difference. How can machines be so off with weights?
Either I just got really weak or something is wrong.:shuffle

Yes! And same gym.. just in a different town.
It kind of reminds me of certain cardio machines too. You do the same exact routine on a "newer" treadmill you burn 600. Then the older one says you burned 500 calories.

pulley tension set up differently... or not oiled properly,
i have seen plenty of machines like this
some cable pulls at 80 pounds seem like 40 and others seem like 100.
machines.....bad bad bad bad bad bad bad
free weights you can't go wrong you know that the 60 pound is 60 pounds you can actually weigh it if you want.

Or you just got weaker...lol
Some of the cable machines now have two settings, lighter and heavier, but thats mostly in the cage type set ups. But it def could be set up wrong or not maintained properly.
