i saw this flick last night. for a movie with no nudity, excessively strong language, or too much blood & guts, this was a really good flick. i think depp did a great job -- his character was hysterical. the ending was pretty cliche, but the comic relief amidst all the adventure scenes was very tasteful.

cool...wanted to check it out, but got turned off by the tv trailer...they were blasting annoying modern rock to the action sequences...I hate it when potentially decent movies use loud, crappy rock in their ads...it might be for a certain audience and to sell soundtracks, but I think modern rock dates the movies and ruins 'em for later...I'd rather a decent composer with nice music...

I actually liked the music in the trailer. I saw the movie too and I enjoyed it. Depp is a great actor because he has played many different roles in his career and does each one justice.

I thought it was a good movie too and Depp's character was hilarious, was it a Disney Movie???????
