Clemens getting the All-Star nod as Zito sits out.

Clemens is having a mediocre year, granted, its his last (supposedly) but this whole thing reeks of shadiness.

i'm a yankee fan but baseball only sent him to the game bcuz its his last year,i think it was
good to do. the nba sent mj to the last all star game.maybe they should of sent him as an extra and not sit zito
but he deserves his ovation ,hes one of the greatest to pitch.

first off....zito threw 106 pitches on sunday....no way would he be able to pitch on one days rest....Dontrelle Willis isn't pitching either because of the same reason.

2nd.....Clemens is having a great year.....he would easily be in double digit wins if not for the yankee bull pen blowing games...

3rd....he leads the American league in strike outs

4th.....it is his last year and HE DESERVES TO GO.....much like Tony Gwynn and Cal Ripken did a few years ago. Clemens is having a better year than those two had when they were selected so their should be no argument over this.

5th- Billy Beane and Ken macha were the ones who said that Zito shouldn't pitch.....

6th- STFU with the conspiracy theory shit....Clemens is the best pitcher of our generation....300 wins and 4000 k's

wells should of made it too, 6 walks all year , he has clearly been the yanks most consistant pitcher
and an 11-3 rec. the yanks were hated on becuz torre took a lot of yanks the past 5 or 6 years.
