My question is what's the easiest way to split up a mix into tracks?

take the mix in soundforge, highlite the first track, right click CUT then paste into a new file, save as like say, "Track #1"
Then go back to the mix, and do the same for ever song but save them with names in order (track 2 save as "track #2, 3 as 3, etc)
it takes a while but its better then buying the cd arcitecht plug in for soundforge...
i dunno how clear that was but if you dont understand, IM me at michaelg3k for more instructions

Thank you mikey....
but CJ helped me do it that way and for some reason when I burn the cd I syill get that pause EVEN when using the DAO feature....
have you ever tried it this way:..............
"Take your whole 6 trackbreak mix into Soundforge.
Use the Marker Command "M" on the keyboard. Place one M at 0:00. Now IN ORDER scroll through the whole file and place a marker every time you want the track to switchover to the next.
So by now you should have SIX markers. One at 0:00 and five more to indicate the beginning of the tracks. Now skip all the way to the end of the performance and press "M" again. You now have seven markers.
Now go to "Special", "Regions List", "Markers to Regions"
This will cut the file up into six regions or CD tracks.
Now go to "Tools", "Extract Regions" and Sound forge will save each region as a seperate track in the folder you designate. It prompts you to select a file prefix, but leave this blank.
Unless you rename the Regions, you will get the tracks labelled as the Time Indicatiors (ie. 00:00:1:01) but you can rename in whatever MP3 player you use.
As some advice, you should really convert the mix to a .wav file before doing all of this. MP3 is compressed audio and degenerative...everytime you open it, alter it, and save it, you're sound quality goes down.

Program called CD wave
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/cakewalkdirect/cdwave.html
costs 10 bucks (used to be free now I can't find it anywhere though, but you might still be able to). You convert the mp3 to wave, view the waveform and add markers where you want your tracks to split.. very simple.

Use Nero...
its cd burning program... and u can enter track breaks in an 80 min track...
just be sure to take the 2 sec pause off once the tracks are broken up
easiest possible way out there
