New series on the History Channel explains the history of certain martial arts, their techniques and origins etc. really good show for anyone interested in different martial arts. So far the first 2 shows were about Escrima (stick-fighting/hand to hand from the Philipines) and Karate (originated from Okinawa island, NOT Japan). They got 2 guys hosting the show, one is this ex-football player and the other an MMA fighter. They actually go to the same schools that the original masters trained and have them go through traditional training techniques (wrestling water buffalo, striking boulders etc) crazy shit.
