Pete Rose and the hall of fame.....

Its hall of Fame Weekend and its time for the annual debate. Should pete be allowed back in baseball.

Thoughts and opinions....

I'll start...

Pete rose was a great player. Always gave 110%.
but i personally think he bet on baseball. Cause if he didn't then why in the hell would he agree to a lifetime ban. I think He should be allowed in the hall of fame cause there are guys who did things that were a lot worse than what he did. ty Cobb was one of the biggest racist alive. Pete's numbers speak for themselves and he should be in the hall if and only if He comes clean.

With that being said, I don't think they should allow him back into baseball. he should be banned from taking a managers job.

i agree buc. No doubt he bet on baseball, no doubt he bet on his team, but as long as he didn't bet against his team I don't see this warranting a lifetime banishment from the hall.

i heard somewhere that selig promised the last commiss that he wouldnt ever let rose in
i dunno if theres any truth to that though

I agree, plus he bet on baseball as a coach not as a player. Isn't OJ in the Football hall of fame?

there are many players with their names in the hall of fame that have done much worse... Guys bet on games(if he bet for his team to win--whats the big deal--now if he bet on them to lose thats another thing)...all in all he still deserves to be in the hall of fame....

baseball has consistently shown poor decisions.Lets face it..MLB is beginning the road the NHL has been on for a while.

I think in the end..Rose will end up in the hall fo fame.
