phones, i'm stuck on if i should go for either the MDR -v700's from Sony or the pioneer hdj 1000s headphones. Now i know the v700's are the ones everyone uses and all the dj's use but i been hearing that they break a lot from quite a lot of people and i'm not looking for that to happen, the pioneers offer 500 more mws' than the sonys' but i haven't heard any comments about the pioneers, they're more expensive but have any of yous used them, which should i go with? I want excellent quality, outer distortion to be obsolete, good tight flexibility, and that they Dont' break easily or quickly.

The Black Sony MDR - V600's

Not as easy to find, but theyre still out there ... i see dj's at gigs still using them all the time, theyre my fav. too the most confortable and sturdy of the group. Ive had mine for years now.

are they usefully flexible, block all the outer sound, and last long? and better than the pioneers? cuz i wanted the v700's till i heard so many comments about them breaking, so now i'll stick with the pioneers, unless the ones you mentioned james are better, believe me i'll find them.

v700's break easy, but the sound is great on them... I hear good things about the pioneer too...

dont get the Sony's... i just ordered a pair of Technics headphones cause I used them this past weekend and loved em... my old Sony 700's broke.... I do have a friend that has 700's but used twist ties and crazy glue on em to make sure they never crack and it's worked really well.... i still think the technics and pioneer's sound better though....
