died in a auto accident today.

credit this man for argueably the great american sports moment ever . . . hollywood has been in the process of making a movie about the 1980 national team's story, which i'm sure will now be a tribute to him.

Herb Brooks was the man.

He was also the last cut on the 1960 Gold medal team

R.I.P. Herb Brooks....we both won gold medals on that same rink.... :chuckle
