looks great based on the preview. So glad to see Randy's back in the picture and am anxious to see how he handles things with the police with regards to the Lex investigation. Who knows what kind of sick twsited shit McNulty and Freemon have up their sleeves trying to give their "killer" more publicity. We'll see if the reporter's bullshit story holds up under scrutiny. I wonder what kind of info Bunk is looking for from Michael's mother, and if she sells out her son. Lastly, we'll see how the Marlo vs. Omar vs. the co-op situation unfolds. It seems like Marlo's trying to pass off Prop Joe and Hungry Man's murders as Omar's doing.
:rubhands what do you guys think?:hmmm

Saw it last night and it was Okay..The best way I can describe the episode is Omar strikes back with a lil vengence. There were some great scenes the 1 scene you actually feel bad for Omar and want to see him get Marlo..The other powerfull scene is the mayor speech on homless people..He flips the script on the govenor very nice..
Opening scene is funny:LOL Marlo goes whats this nigga spiderman
Bunk and McNulty are digging themself a deep grave and they almost get caught
A new bombshell is dropped and something from a old episode rears its head.
The co op doesnt buy Omar hit Joe thats what Marlo tried to pass off
he appoints cheese a boss

I can't believe Omar survived that leap from the condo balcony. His legs seem to be in excruciating pain, so I'm curious to see how his continued hunt for Marlo progresses. I'm also interested to see Chris Partlow's changing disposition towards the whole Marlo situation. It's clear that even a stone cold killer like Chris is becoming a little tired with all the unnecessary back and forth with Omar. I feel a bit strange about Chris' character having a family, however. He doesn't seem like the type of character who would have a family, and it seems like his family was merely a plot device that was written into the script to give his character more of a reason to be against the continuing the beef with Omar.
I like how Bunk is going back through the old murders and re-evaluating them. I'm glad that Bunk seems to be on the verge of breaking open the case involving the beating of Michael's father, because although I understood Michael's hatred towards his stepfather, I think having him killed was just a ruthless, unneccesary thing to do. Hopefully Michael rights the wrong he committed by helping Bunk take down Marlo's crew.
I'm also interested to see what the hell the deal is with Marlo and the picture messaging. Marlo's a slick dude, and it seems that he's been using a cell phone as a means of proving that he's not discussing anything illegal, so Freamon's wire tap may ultimately prove to be useless. So far, the wire doesn't seem to be producing much of a case against Marlo. Hopefully the efforts of Freamon and McNulty aren't in vain, because, thus far, Bunk seems to be the only dude who's really on the verge of possibly nailing Marlo and his crew.

It wasn't as action packed as I had expected, but i thought it was a great episode anyway. it was the small details that seemed to be important, and they just keep building, so i can see them leading up to very big things. this made up for the lack of action, imo.

Currently, any form of a case against Marlo seems to depend solely on Randy and Michael.

I agree completely. Alot of little things are starting to come out.

That case isnt even with Marlo. Its on Chris

That's how the food chain works. Catch Michael, work out a deal with him to get Chris, then squeeze Chris to get Marlo. Or, just work out a deal with Michael to get Marlo and his entire crew. The likelihood of a deal may be better when dealing with a younger, more impressionable kid, instead of an old school street soldier.

I'm glad to see Bunk starting to do some real police work, even though his threats didn't work on Randy nor Michael's mom. Such a shame to see Randy has become another victim of the system and the streets. Unless he has a change of heart, I don't see him cooperatig much. the scene at the crime lab was priceless, yet so sad. bunk knows its all on him, and he can't rely on any forensic evidence they collected cuz its all fucked! it seems something, maybe Mcnulty's bullshit has lit a fire under Bunk's ass. i loved the comment Greg's made to Bunk, "and what would the Bunk do, take no for an answer?" lol
as far as Omar goes, he's gotta be the meanest, toughest homo that ever lived. man's gonna leap out of a window and hide out with no medical attention while half of baltimore's looking for his ass! needless to say he's not stopping till he gets to chris, snoop and marlo unless they get him first.
Seems Freamon has completely taken over Bunk's role as Mcnulty's partner in crime, and these two might even be a worse combo. its really a shame they had to make up a serial killer for the police dept. to finally get some attention, and it turns out mcnulty gets the help of one cop? are you kidding me, such a joke! goes to show its all political bullshit in the end, and no one cares about what's best for the city, only advancing their own agendas.
it really sucks for Bunk that he's onto Michael and Chris with regards to killing Michael's stepdad and he can't get any evidence work done due to the back-up from the "homeless murders" (and boy did he look pissed.)
and as far as the illegal wire, the speech Freamon gave to Syndor was another classic scene. btw, is Syndor sponsored by Under Armor or something? lol

but they'll probably try and tie them all together with the 22 in the vacants, the home invasion, prop joe and hungry man

never say never... he seems really heated about the situation, about going after Omar even though everyone warned Marlo otherwise. especially after Marlo showed his disappointment in them "missing their chance" at getting Omar. look how he reacted when talking with Snoop in the safhouse about seeing his kids! i can see him killing Marlo if the price is right. maybe some people from the co-op will approach him.... but we will see

wont try and ruin it for you guys
Vman is right watched episode 57 it just keeps building and building and if everyone remembers the introudction to this season the show was called
"the bigger the lie the more they believe" Everything just goes back to that quote.
Chris and Snoop are not in this episode..Like the attractions showed Michael gets pulled says nothing back on the streets..like rudeboyyouth loves the bond between Michel and Dunquan funny the opening scenes..
This episode has more to do about the media and the writer Scott who has been telling lies in his story ..The editor Gus thinks hes full of shit
McNulty and Lester keep digging INTO FURTHER SHIT..its crazy how McNulty can handle himself in so much bullshit about the homeless murders..
basically the whole office is in now on the secret
Bunk is pissed cause he is getting passed over on some shit
Clay Davis - flips it (the bigger the lie the more they beelive)
Omar-breaks a promise

good question...but probably not.
Or, another question: will he continue go at Marlo and his crew by himself or will he get help from anyone?

All I see is this raggedy-ass dude limping around with a 12 gauge shooting at everyone. All you hear is people shouting in the neighborhood, "Omar! Omar's coming!"
Can't believe he came out of his comfortable hideaway to do this crap. He was home free.

it goes to show you the kind of rep he's got in b'more! even limping aroud on one leg people run for cover. Marlo wants his name to ring out, but it seems no name will ever ring out as loud as Omar's.
yes Omar as home free, but Marlo wouldn't let sleeping dogs lie and went after Butchy. if someone killed one of your best friends because of you, wouldn't the gulit be so overwhelming you would want to retaliate? i know i would

Omar isnt being too patient.
you're right, he's not so patient anymore since he leapt out that window. i meant before the shootout in Monk's apt. he used to stake out a mark or stashouse for like a week.
from the way episdoe 56 ended it seemed to me that things were gonna slow down for the next episdoe or two, so we'll just have to be patient (like omar used to be)
