last nights met game, worst call i've ever seen an umpire make on the play at home w/ Phillips...Chuck Meriwether should be shot......anyway, the game meant nothing as the mets have been out of the hunt for 6 months, but what if it were a crucial play....w/ replay in 3 other major sports, should replay be implemented in MLB?

The mets have been out of the hunt since October 2000.

i think it should be instituted. But not for balls and strikes.
And basketball really doesn't utilize instant replay...only for last second buzzer beaters. I'd like to see them use it more there too.
nothing worse than being on the losing end of a blown call.

i agree about not using it for balls and stikes, but a close play at the plate (or a horribly obvious call like last night) could improve the game...
they implemented that buzzer beater replay rule in hoops due to the ridiculous call at a miami - villanova game i was at...matter of fact that is the worst call ive ever seen...but last night was a close second....

Instant replay for baseball no, for football yes. I think they came up with the perfect system for football with the challenges and shit.
Yes,
Thats all baseball needs is to make the game go by even SLOWER...lol
