Taking duce in the 10th round would have been a better pick than the 3rd round.

He has missed all of camp and wasn't that good to begin with. He is gonna have a terrible year. No running back has ever had a good year after holding out.

is this true? I can't think of any examples off the top of my head but he does have 2 weeks of camp left.

and i agree that duce is probably not a great fantasy player this year. His numbers were pretty good last year but that's deceiving, he racked up some big yards a few games but was very inconsistent. Now that Correll is back he'll lose carries and he might be more of a 3rd down back. He's still a good pass catching rb.

duce can put up pretty good receiving numbers. If youre not starting TE's only receivers then I'd take him over heap.

but would u take him over some of those recievers that went after him?and we are starting TE's. And I think heap may have to put up big numbers this year because of the qb situation and lack of a quality reciever, going to be alot of short and dump off passes.

I agree with your list...but unfortunately the rb's in this draft are light (like most years). So you have to reach for a questionable early sometimes to fill the position.

I hope to draft 2 backs right away...Or one back early then a couple stud WRs.

like I said he could have had w. green a much better pick or stewart who buck got in like the 10th round or o. smith who I got in the 10th. But guarnteed starters, duce isnt that.

i was def going w/ a rb, i ended up w/ ravens d so i didnt lose pts there.if u dont get the top 3 receivers
i read u can wait till later rounds ,cuz in the end they'll all be around the same, and i wasnt picking a te in the
3rd round.wille green scored 1 td in his first nine games and averaged 2.3 yds per carry.then after the
bye put up good #'s but only against teams w/ bad defences.week 16 56yds on 20 carries(balt) and in
playoffs 30yds on 25 carries(pitt) both div teams. hard to run on.

willie green didnt play much in the beginning because jamel white was the starter, over the 2nd half of the season green was one of the top 5 most productive backs, the playoff game he did bad because the team was behind and the qb threw for 429 yards. Green will have good numbers. I agree on waiting on recievers, there were still good recievers not even picked. Bottomline how can you take a guarnteed starting back over one thats not guarnteed?

the way i see it, green is playing balt and pitt twice each.he's not going to a lot of touches vs.teams like that ,he's just not strong enuf and only has avg speed.also he suckssss in short yardage situations, so he wont be getting the ball at the goalline.i highly doubted that staley would not be on any team by the start of the season.even though mcnabb does a lot of the running i'm sure his rushes will go down because of the injury scare.also eagles picked up jon ritchie from oak

Gary couldn't get it done in Denver with that great system, not so sure he's gonna be a productive back in Detroit. He might be the every down starter but his numbers will probably look like A. Thomas's were last year. Could be wrong...
