Guy can flat out pitch. He shut the yanks down when they played against him in june. Now I finally think the bull pen is gonna right itself. Rivera, Nelson, Heredia, Hammond, White.....I'll take my chances withem in October.

This week is a nice test. The whit sox are hot and then there is boston.

Nice pick up but is WEAVER going to stay in the pen? I'd rather have CONTERAS be our 5th starter...what do you think?

Weaver might actually be in the minors by friday. But he will be re-called on Sept 1st when rosters expand.

Contreas is the 5th starter. He is not going anywhere

Contreas just needed a little bit of work...I've always liked his pitching style...you watch him in the playoffs :)

Guy has spent a majority of his first season in the minors. So I don't know what style you've been watching.

Sunday was the first game in which contreas showed any type of movement on his pitches. he was hurt. now he is healthy and hopefully turn out to be a good $32MM investment.

He is gonna be in the bullpen come october.....The 7th inning is his.

Hes HAD movement on his pitches before he went to the minors it just needed to be perfected...Being HEALTHY is really all that he needed to beeeeeee :)

he really didn't have anything on his pitches.....hence the reason why he got lit up.....His fastball was flat and he had no action on his splitter.....Now its a different story....He was hurt and didn't say anthing probably cause habla no ingleis.
