I have my draft this Friday and I'm trying to forsee what the first round might look like. Here's my thinking:
1) R. Williams
2) L. Tomlinson
3) P. Holmes
4) C. Portis
5) M. Faulk
6) D. McAllister
7) S. Alexander
8) E. James
9) T. Owens
10) M. Harrison
11) A. Green
12) T. Henry
Having a late 1rst rounder doesn't look to promising this year. I'd like to have a middle first if it pans out like this.

I don't know if I like james that early. Mungro usually gets the goal line situations and he's injury prone.

yeah but I'm still putting him up in the first tier running back group. I think he'll be an every down back now that he has a full season under his belt after the injury. Plus he's still one of the best catching rbs in the league. And I like the balanced offense that the Colts have.

Owens and Harrison are the first tier WRs in my opinion. Their drafting positions can switch, I just know in my draft once one goes the other will follow. I think Owens has the potential to have a great year and I think Harrison's numbers may come down. But I said the same thing last year.
We start 2 Rbs, 2 Wrs, 1 TE, 1 QB, Defense, Kicker, and maybe a TD guy (still undecided). It's a yardage and td scoring system.
I know some people will reach for a QB in the first round...I really hope so. Last year I got burned by picking a QB early, never again.

I would take 2 RB's with my first 2 picks....Their are plenty of WR's to go around.....and never take a QB until most of the teams take theirs. While they are drafting QB's, you should be adding depth to RB and WR. there are 15 good QB's in Fantasy Football that you can win with. As for RB's, there are 8-10 top guys, then another 8 2nd tier, thats it....and WR's after the big 3, there are about 10-12 2nd tier, and about 10-14 3rd tier....

i agree with your strategy. But if the first tier RBs are gone I'm grabbing Owens or Harrison then look to get a second tier RB in round 2 and hope another Rb slips in the 3rd. I'm going to hold out real long for QB. I'd like to land a Maddox, Holcumb or Hasselback...all three have a lot of weapons.
I'd like to grab heap after the TE selections start happening.

i took hasselback in the 8th and then got holcumb in like the 11th or 12th, i believe maddox went in the 9th.

yeah that's what I'm hoping. I think you can get more value wating till then and taking two in case the other doesn't work out.

exactly. I'm wearyabout fucking with the "big 3" at TE because gonzalez and shockey both have injuries and heap has no qb.

exactly what I did, I took Harrison with my first pick and took Corey Dillon with my 2nd. Probably grabbed Brad Johnson too soon, should have just taken Collins when I did
