Based on the book Disco Bloodbath, this is the true story of Michael Alig (Macaulay Culkin), who moved from the Midwest to New York City with his friend James St. James (Seth Green). The two quickly became enmeshed in the NYC club scene (and the scene's designer drugs) and made names for themselves as party promoters until Alig was convicted of murdering his drug dealer by injecting him with Drano and tossing him into the East River.

I read that book last year and read Clubland last month, I can't wait to check out the movie. It's funny to be able to look at some of the things I missed that were going on when I was in these clubs. Supposedly the movie is supposed to be real accurate because Alig got alot of his acts and parties on tape, so they had something to go from. I'd have to image that the movie is pretty graphic though and can't see how it could have anything less the a pornstar rating.

yep..plus on his site Alig says how Caulkin would visit him at the pen often to get feedback & opinions..which is pretty good ;)
