I just started working out with a professional sports trainer here in AZ. He teaches biomechanics. It's all about light weights but positioning yourself so much that you're only using the specific muscle you're training. For example...when doing curls, drop your dumbbells down to 20-25 lbs, bend your knees, stand on one foot, contract your abs, pike forward a little and do 12-15 curls as slow as you possibly can. I bet you get a better workout than swinging your normal weight.

Or try this...

Bench press....just put a 45 plate on each side, put your feet up on the bench, knees together, contract your abs so there's no space in between your lower back and the bench....then do a press as slowly as you can, stop 2 inches from your chest for 3 seconds, then push it up as slowly as you can. As your pushing the weight up, also push inwards on the bar so that your chest is flexed the entire time. You would be amazed at the burn you'll feel from such light weight.

A lot of the exercises are done on a fitness ball, foam rollers, etc. I'm trying to trick my nervous system into focusing on my balance and not my muscle I'm working out. This way I won't fatigue as fast.

From what I understand there was a big article about this a month or two ago in Men's Fitness. The one with LL on the cover. I don't know if it's his training regime or not though.

I've been doing this for a month and a half and have noticed tremendous results. I'm getting bigger and staying cut at the same time. VERY interesting stuff!

Hope that made sense. Don't know if I can explain it any better.

do both and consistently change up your routine .. so reduandant but you have to shock the muscles.

Just like my saying under my name...."Go Hard or Go Home".

Intesity is the name of the game when I am in the gym. And I literally will walk right the fuck out and come back later or hit up another gym if my work out isnt where I want it to be.

i mix it 6months a year from sept to late march i go heavy 8-6-4-2-1 rep and protein shakes and creatine and no cardio ( i have an extremly fast metabolism) in the spring and summer i loose the shakes and go very high reps at lower weight and cardio i also do alot more body resistance chins,push-ups, etc to crave up for summer so half the year i focus on gains then the other half cutting those gains up
