THE world's first seven-star hotel is offering $1 million holidays with private butler, day trips in a private jet and a stay in a gold-accented suite.

Dubbed the world's first seven-star hotel, the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi has put together a seven-night package that will cost $1,025,000 for two people.

The trip of a lifetime kicks off in style with two first-class return flights from any where in the world.

Once at the Emirates Palace Hotel, you will be taken to your 680sq m three-bedroom suite lined with gold and marble - with crystal chandeliers, a lounge with a 1.5m plasma TV and laptops.

A personal butler will tend to you 24 hours a day between private jet excursions, where guests can claim a handmade Persian rug in Iran, receive a spa treatment at the Dead Sea and hit Bahrain to dive for pearls - which will be fashioned into gifts by on-site jewellers.

The deal includes all food and drink at the hotel's 13 bars and restaurants, while a chauffeur-driven $410,000 Maybach supercar will be available on demand.

The boys can play at the ultra-exclusive Abu Dhabi Golf Club while the girls will make their own fragrance with experts from Yas Perfumes.

Other adventures include a desert island tour, deep-sea fishing and champagne at a romantic venue at sunset.

And you'll go out with a bang! Customers will be treated with a selection of guns from Holland & Holland Sporting Guns. But don't panic; the company will make arrangements to get the goodies through Customs.

Not bad for $146,000 a day!

thats really not that cool. why yes its extravagant if you can spend a million for a week then why even bother. the lack of originality stems from people with too much money and too much time. go buy an island. get your own plane and travel the world. buy a 100 foot yacht with a crew and go on vacation. wowowowowow you can play golf? wowowow get driven around in a myabach. who cares.....

its really pathetic. let me be able to spend 1 million for a week and you probably would not believe how creative of a vacation i would plan.

There's no standard for what a 6 or 7 star hotel is.... so you could buy a Holiday Inn and call it an 8 star hotel if you feel like it. It's just marketing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_(classification)#Six_star_hotels

"Six star hotels

"Some members of the hospitality industry have claimed a six star rating for their operation. One example is the Crown Macau casino, on Taipa Island in the Chinese territory of Macau. Another is the St. Regis Shanghai Hotel in China. The Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast in Australia is described by Australian Traveller magazine as meriting "six star" rating though that level of rating is not used in Australia.[2]

"[edit] Seven star hotels

"Although the Burj Al Arab currently charecterizes itself as the world's only "7-Star Hotel", several "7-Star" hotels are under construction. These include the Flower of the East under construction in Kish, Iran,[3] The Centaurus Complex under construction in Islamabad, Pakistan[4] and a complex planned for Metro Manila in the Philippines.[5]"[/QUOTE]
