It definitly works for me usually within 2 weeks my bench goes up as much 10-15 lbson dumbells and and i throw on about 5-6 lbs of muscle in a month...When i stop using creatine i get weaker and slim down but hold some residual gains in my weight and bench press Now i know it doesnt affect everyone like this and for some there is no reaction to creatine but my main question is if it acts like steroid is there any health risks involved.... if you read the muscle mags and I'am very skeptical because every article is a glowing endorsemnt all you hear is positive shit but over the years ive become extremly skeptical of these rags because main reason was how they railed against steriod use in the early 90"s during the dorian yates era and now promote injection by doctor i lost all faith in that shit....muscle mags thrive mainly on sponsers its not like 93-95 when bodybuilding was huge!!! and creatine was newly discovered and not widely used! but now there advertises must make millions in creatine sales so i dont trust it anymore... ive turned to pro-natural bodybuilding publications and get my info from web based grass root bodybuilding sites but i cant get info on creatine

i've found that the best way I sustain a gain, is when I combine creatine with protein shakes or bars.

from what I've heard for glutamine to be effective you need to take 10-12 grams a day. And I think I remember joey saying something like 15-20grams, but I maybe wrong.

L-Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid so you have to take in large amounts to see any benefit. The last time i read into it the norm was 15-20 grams per day. A great combo is 5g creatine, 10g L-Glutamine, and 250mg ALA (alpha lipoic acid) with a drink that contains dextrose, before and then after the workout. As far as I know creatine is safe. I'm not aware of any research that demonstates negative aspects although I'm sure it could take a slight toll on your liver, especially without enough hydration.
