I read on People.com that they are in Splitsville. She was spotted in Miami Beach looking quite forlorn while Ben was heading to Vegas tonight.

If she is to have a long term relationship, she needs to leave her celebrity behind. I'm a firm believer that you can't be 100% successful in career AS WELL as marriage, especially, when you are a perfectionist a la JLo.

And I believe you can definitely be good at what you do and be married at the same time, when you marry for the right reasons and to the person that will compliment you, not for status, etc.. maybe I am old fashioned?

Maybe you can, but in all honesty, do you see Jennifer Lopez being able to maintain the mega wattage star power she now has and continuing to succeed in her movies and music AND be able to devote herself to a long term, healthy and normal relationship?

Marriage is a job in itself that requires hard work and dedication. If your mind is focused on something else, then it might be very hard to make both things work.

thats just j-lo... and there are definitely a lot of celebrities like her but there are also ones that don't value the relentless pursuit of status and higher image over real values and focusing on their craft alone... in other words.. she's just an attention whore. If I were put in the same situation as her I wouldn't be as reckless with my ambition to be "everywhere at once"... but I guess to each their own..

in my opinion she is more hurt about how it looks that ben dumped now her rather than why he left her... its simple, re-assess your priorities and stop jumping into relationships so that you can make music videos and advertise your new piece of ass every 6 months.

She has deeper rooted issues though. She should DEFINITELY seek some counseling and try being alone for a little bit. I definitely think her publicist will steer her in THIS direction.

Janet Jackson is the perfect example of a humble ultra famous and ultra sucessful celebrity who can be married for 9 years and not only not have anyone know about it, but can act with dignity and respect and not floosy around with every other guy.

It has nothing to do with how much fame you have, but the kind of person you are. As for J-lo, I think she definetely falls in love too easily and doesnt use her brain enough when it comes to relationships. I dont know if I believe that they broke up just yet. This could just be a ploy to lead everyone to believe they broke up so that they can in actuality have a nice peaceful wedding without the papparazi on thier ass. On the other hand, its quite possible that they broke up as this is the patter in her life.

I dont know what to believe just yet. Just cuz the media says they broke up, it may not necessarily be true, but its a possibility.
