its ok for someone running for office to flip flop or with-hold there true thoughts on a situation JUST to win votes?


its a yes or no question but if you have an opinion or an example on either side i'd live to hear them :agree

Do i think its right? no. Is it done all the time? Yes. Does that make it right? no. Does it make in predictable ? yes. Do we take evdrything every single politician says at face value? No. Do most of us take some stuff with a grain of salt? Yes.

Situations change all the time. There are sometimes very valid reason to flip flop on issues and policies. As far as to win votes, I dont think its righ. This was the story of McCain during his whole campaign. His campaign would have done so much better if he was able to be himself.
