very good movie! i just saw it last night
im a sucker for a movie with a twist! this one had a few twists and turns
i sortaaaaaaa had it figured out but then they make u think differently and the end is a nice shock
def worth renting or buying

as far as movies with a twist go, this is up there with:
six sense
seven
sawshank redemption
a beautiful mind

I ordered it tonite on PPV. I agree. I loved it. Its been a while since they put out a good horror flick and this one definitely fit the bill!

i saw this movie in the theatre and walked out like WHAT THE FUCK.. shit was insane, i love ray liotta, john cusack.. good actors

exactly! same here! ive been telling people they have to see it and they are like oh well it didnt do good in the movies so it prob sucks, i find it bizare how it didnt do good in the movies, its a great movie, a def mind fuck!

I thought it was gonna suck from the commercial. They really made it look like just another cheezy horror flick and it was definitely a movie with an edge.

Is it a gory movie? I hate blood and guts and stuff, so if thats the case then I'll probably pass, if not I wanna see it! :)

not too gory, just 2 scenes that blood but if I watched it with no problem then you should have no problem. I hate Gory movies as well.

ok this was said at the end again, after he pictures the lil boy killing the woman(or him killing the man in the passenger seat)

what's special about him & then at the end, it shows as if he was the killer all along? i don't get it-where does this come from?

my understanding of the movie was that the guy had 10 personalities, and the treatment he was undergoing forced all 10 to confront eachother that night at the motel--the whole motel stuff was mental...and in order for the guy not to be sentenced to death he had to prove to the court that he had killed the personality that had killed everyone years ago...which was the kid, who was never killed at the end...I think the little boy personality comes from the fact that he was scarred as a little child, when his mother was a prostitute etc...i think the doctor says that at one point, that people who were scarred at a young age are more inept to have multiple personalities...

the boy was about 4 years old and that when the murders happened when the child was born in his head
the thought he was john cusack most of the time
thats was his main character if u will....but when the child personality takes over in his head is when he committs murders
