this sounds good

2 lb sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch pieces
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon finely grated fresh lime zest
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

PreparationPut oven rack in lower third of oven and preheat oven to 425°F.

Toss sweet potatoes with 2 tablespoons oil and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a shallow baking pan. Arrange potatoes in 1 layer and roast, stirring halfway through roasting, until tender, about 25 minutes total. Stir together cayenne, zest, and remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt in a small bowl. Whisk together lime juice and remaining tablespoon oil in a medium bowl, then add potatoes. Sprinkle with cayenne mixture and cilantro, stirring gently to combine

smart balance spray, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice, fat free plain yogurt

I actually put 1/2 pound of ground turkey and scallions right on top

I also make a version of corned beef hash except i use ground turkey, sweet potatoes, onion, red bell pepper

mash em up, skin and all, add a little orange juice, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice

cut slices of sweet potatoes about 1/2" thick, roast them, then spread almond butter or natural peanut butter on them.

I have so many yam recipes. if you want more, i'll continue

I actually have them as a snack before training sometimes. I don't think I tried them stoned but I will this weekend and report back with my findings.

one more quick recipe

chop up yams and roast them on a sheet pan. Take out before done, they will continue to cook from residual heat. Toss them with a couple drops of evoo. then add half a cup of coconut milk and a handfull of raisins. Ad cardomon and pumpkin pie spice to taste along with some celtic sea salt. You'll thank me later. Some of the best sweet potato salad ever. Great for a BBQ

no holes....

i usually cut off the ends of the potato after washing it well...
stick it in a pyrex dish with a cover
nuke that sucker for 3 or 4 minutes
flip it over (there may be some water on the bottom of the dish)
then you choose if you want to put the cover back on or leave off, depending on how moist you want the potato
nuke again for 2 or 3 minutes (or more depending on how big it is)
