im not exactly sure where i heard this but is it true that it burns calories faster than any other cardio??

i think its a great form of cardio. so much better than the treamil and it improves coordination and balance. win win

I've heard the same in the past. Excellent of you can throw it in between your weight/ training sets.

some advice-
dont do it towards the end of your work out, esp if u just did arms/shoulders...guaranteed fail--you will look like the fat kid in the school yard with no coordination lol

:wallbang hahahaha I always warm up with jump rope. (3) 3 minute rounds with a 1 minute break. 20 pushups, 20 crunches and 20 prisoner squats in that minute break. Great warm up.

I have heard that 10 minutes on the rope is equivalent to running an 8 minute mile from a calorie burning/cardio standpoint. I have heard this from multiple sources.

im able to get a full 2 min of single unders no problem. i cant string together double unders yet. still working on it

If you want to learn to jump rope quickly just do it bare foot. I can guarentee you learn fast.
