How do you jazz yours up?

I took a variation of a chicken recipe my roommate makes for some leftovers the other day... And it was SO good.

White Rice
Soy Sauce
Red Pepper
Black Pepper
Sesame Seeds
Sprinkle of Garlic (optional)

Its rly good. :eat

Try cooking the White Rice with Chicken Stock instead of water, and throw in some garlic cloves chopped up. Also add alittle salt, and crushed red pepper.

I haven't had white rice in years but my grandmother used to swear by carolina rice i think. It's in the brown box. She would use chicken stock instead of water, a good amount of onion powder and a ton of butter. I can still imagine the taste. It was so good. She used to makle it so it stuck together and came out in a lump.

buy jasmine rice instead of plain white rice, it's so much better, though it has a glycemic index of over 100 which means it's like eating cups of sugar (not that regular white rice is much better).

nothing like a nice greasy piece of roasted chicken sitting on top of a bed of rice. Maybe a few peas for garnish and you're all set

I also like w/ just a lot of salt and pepper and soy. But the spicy pepper and the sesame make it really good. :shuffle
