So i went to Japonaise NYC last night for :dinner dinner with a friend last night. Food was very good except the beans that came with my friends meal was a tad under cooked... The waiter also seemed a little unsure of himself, and they mixed up our order with another table (granted they were basically the same meals) but other then that, excellent food.
My favorite thing was "the rock" it was a hot rock that came with very small thin sliced pieces of steak...
OH!!! and they had some good tunes playing as well :lostit

i never really go out to nice restaurants.. im more of an fridays, chillis, applebees kinda gal (cheap date i know haha) so i couldn't resist taking pics and posting :keke

i didnt pay so i didnt see the bill :shuffle .. but appetizers were around 18... filet was 38... ribs 36... half bottle of wine i believe was about 26??? (dont remember)

:giveup i would consider $18 app on the pricey side ? $38 for the steak isnt bad. $12 glass of wine i guess is okay, but half a craffe, i wonder what they were serving. the presentation the steak looks like it was dropped on the floor LOL

:hitting ahah wats funny is that my friend tried 2 take my asparagus before i had a chance to take a pic, so i was like WAAAAAAAAIIIT! put it back really quick so i can take a pic!!! ahha

and yea i thought the rock thing was a little pricey for meat we had 2 cook ourselves ahha

for NYC, it's not terrible though... it seems about right for a nice place.

yah its not horrible, i looked at the menu and the prices are okay. the name of the place kinda grosses me out LOL

i went there back in october i think it was..

dinner and drinks for 4 of us came to about 400 approx if i remember correctly, but 3 people had steak.

it was really busy & the food took a long time to come out.. but it was pretty good. i would go again.

Never been to the NY one..but the one in Chicago was DELICIOUS!!! :agree
