out of the 3 resorts I listed which is your fav? the palma real? site quoted about $2600 for 6 nights..

was looking for something a tad cheaper

I've stayed at sol melia, paradisus and occidental which owns the small/Nightclub/lounge (right Outside) their main entrance.

I will choose (again) Paradisus.

i went to June last year and although the deal was good .. under$800 for flight/rooms/food/all booz for 5 days/4 nights,,,,, there was nobody there. I need to go back when its in season. It is beautiful though.

if you are going for a romantic vacation with just you and the man I really recommend Excellence, an adults only resort. It was a little bit more pricey than some of the other options but well worth it in my opinion. The food and service was GREAT. One of the best, most relaxing vacations I've ever been on. i stood at the paridisus palma real and had a GREAT EFFIN TIME!! We had the pool to ourselves, so romantic and even had dinner on the beach.

we went to mangu disco bar which is located at the occidental resort. Had a GREAT time there both on a thursday and saturday nights. downstairs is hiphop, salsa, merengue, bachata and upstairs is house. sat night its really packed so you gotta get there early... we just went and bought a bottle and skipped the line.. 100 bucks for a bottle.. not so bad. we met the bar tenders and locals that asked us to go to an after hours spot but my husband and i were so drunk we just went back to the hotel.

this placew looks dope i wanna stay there. you can get a jaccuzi suite for $1700, flight should be like $400 each. i just wanna go somewhere massages are included. LOL

Mangu... that's the name.
I stayed at Occidental 2 years ago.... they also have SHOWS at the resort every single night.
I think this applies to every single RESORT in punta cana.

It looks amazing. It was a toss up between this hotel and the Dreams. There was a significant diff in price but chose this since a lot more was included. Can you suggest any activities? We bought a package for deep sea finishing and a separate snorkeling package from the one the hotel offers for free.

I'm pretty pumped- its my first time leaving the US.

Bavaro beach is a nice beach to visit (theres a webster hall in that area too, lol)
Rent an atv-they go to a bunch of dif destinations
