I like Negril bc of Rick's Cafe. Take a booze cruise from your hotel to Rick's its a great time.
i hated jamiaca with a passion both times.
lol i was in Negril & Runaway bay- it always rains there ... @ least both times that i went. :disappoin

really? my fiance wants to go there, I kinda wanna do bermuda or some place else like Anguila. $$$ is really tight though, so Jamaica might be our best option. I was gonna ask you what you thought being you're the NCC expert. Shit, lol.

i LOVED LOVED LOVED jamaica. Search my review
Anguila - awesome, has some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. I stayed at Cap Jaluca, it was great, but $$$.
I also did St. Martin and St. Barts on the same trip, loved it.
Here is a good site for potential travel deals to that area:

thanks. you're the 2nd person to recommend Anguila. I've done St thomas/Maarten twice each and loved them, but we're doing somethiing neither has done before. St barts sounds interesting also. I'd really like to do Nevis, I spent one day there and love it.

Can go wrong with Montego Bay. Negril is over polluted imo. as stated in the previous post - st barts is also very exotic and super shic but be prepared to drop $.

ok so we're narrowing in our choices (all are allinclusive and montego bay)
holiday inn montego has some CRAZY rate specials, like 900 for OCEANFRONT ROOM all inclusive, that's a barebones allinclusive
then there's sunset montego which has a cool water park that's 1000-1200 depending on room
Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton is like 1200 but has plenty of restaurants.
leaning towards choice one or two.
Was also looking at ocho rios but thinking better to stay near airport and what not

I did the bobsled while in Ocho Rios-- That was the best. It was a stop on our cruise over Xmas.
Bobsled was fun but The rest didn't interest me. But I was only there a few hours.

Just stayed at Sunset Beach like a month a go.. LOVED it.. Tons of activities.. 3 great restaurants, Free concerts and fun bartenders.. Take a day to shuttle to Negril and Jet ski, parasail and jump off the cliff's @ Rick's cafe.. But Sunset is an excellent home base.. And it's 20 min from airport so you don't waste that day driving

how were the water slides? That's our fav place right now, but holiday inn sunspree is ATLEAST 100 cheaper and that's if we get the nicest room at Holiday inn and cheapest @ sunset. If we get equivalent rooms at both it's 300 cheaper. I am leaning towards sunset though, 8nights/9 days for 1000 is pretty good. what kind of room did you get? standard? ocean view, ocean front?

Ocean view.. It was a high floor so the view was sick.. Ocean front is on the beach but only floor 1 or 2, no privacy.. I liked the height and the seclusion of the balcony better in ocean view... The slides are cool but small.. Nothing like a Great adventure or that level.. A small but cool water park for a few hours, but not great.. I liked the amenities and reviews online for Sunset better, so I took it.. Loved it

Went to Hedonism, I think it was in runaway bay, and had a great time. I don't think it's a fair review cause it's pretty difficult not to have a good time there.

I stayed at rose hall- its a hilton. It was nice. There is a blue moon which is beautiful nearby, as well as a ritz carlton.

Anguilla is definitely a place to chill, not much on the nightlife.

I'm lucky if I can make it past 11pm when i'm at the beach all day. When i was in Boracay, Philippines, I missed 2 gigs b/c I passed out at like 9pm from sun exhaustion.

YES. Do NOT leave Jamaica without visiting the YS Falls. it is not as touristy as the other falls. That excursion MADE my trip. Also, I recommend you do it through the private tours like we did. I will give you the number if you want. It was just us and one other couple.

Looks dope, can you do that if you can't swim? I'm a strong swimmer, but my other half, um not so much.
